After two days for Nelson, it’s Fernando Alonso’s turn in the R29. Fernando arrived at the track yesterday evening to catch up on the events of the test and get up to speed with the engineers. Like Nelson Piquet he’s only had limited time in the car in the damp of Portugal and so he’s excited about the prospect of getting to grips with the car on a dry tack. There will also be further work on the KERS system and learning about all the intricacies of this exciting new technology.
